Chicago Public Schools have adopted computer-based adaptive assessment from the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA), the Common Core Measures of Academic Progress® assessment. CPS uses this assessment to identify the instructional needs of each child, drive instruction, and measure student growth throughout the school year.
